.:: Flower Delivery
Until now, flower delivery was a tendentious affair, fraught with difficulties, confusion, mistakes, flower delivery gone astray, and overcharges. With the advent and then the world domination of cell-phone technology and the PC, flower delivery is undergoing a full-scale renaissance. The ubiquity of the PC – it’s in every office in the United States and Europe, it’s making enormous inroads in China and the republics of the former Soviet Union, it’s coming close to being standard equipment in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Egypt, and the other countries of the Middle East now bid fair to join the ranks of the fully computerized countries – will make flower delivery every bit as ubiquitous. Even in the South Pacific's Marshall Islands, the PC and the Internet are becoming well established. For these changes, we can all be thankful. And where the Internet goes, there goes flower delivery. Now you can send a flowery gift to a friend in the service in the Middle East, for example, or surprise a business colleague in far-off Japan with a bowl of chrysanthemums, all with a few clicks on your home computer. Not at home in front of your computer? No problem – just use your cell phone to place your order for flowers, from your office, your car, or the sidewalk where you sit sipping a double latte, no foam, half decaf, half skim, and half half-and half. That’s all there is to it. Flower delivery has been simplified, and it's as much fun for the giver as it is for the recipient of the gift.
